Retirement Letters
In our busy lives the art of writing letters is long forgotten. That is why you should take some care about the type of letter that you are going to write for your retirement party or celebration. The first thing that you should decide is if you are going to have a hand written retirement letter or if you are going for high tech. Now since you have the option of choosing the way that you will have this letter written I say you should sleep on it for a while. After all retirement letters like old age never disappear.
So now that you have your writing implements ready and your finest paper chosen, the first step is to make a rough draft. On your rough draft you can say all of the things that come from your heart. Since you are going to be retiring have some fun and let all of your humor out to play. Okay now that we have written our first rough retirement letters – you are going to be giving these to as many people as you can remember, you should start on writing the final version of the retirement letters.
As you go along you can add things and delete words. In short you can change everything in the retirement letters around. However before you get too carried away make a list and like Santa check it twice. You really don’t want to forget anyone – after all they might forget about you! So now that you have a list of hosts for your retirement letters you should get the envelopes ready.
Since you are gong to be retiring this is a very special occasion therefore you should make your letters look very special. So break out the special envelopes if you can remember where you have hidden them and in your best hand writing say who is going to get the different retirement letters.
Well now that is done all that remains is for you to deliver them to their new masters. By the way I hope that you remembered to invite them to your retirement party. Since this is a letter that has been written in your honor – by you, you will need to gently let your friends and everyone else know what they are getting.
Retirement letters sound like they are the end of living successfully. You however know the truth – you are going to have a ball. These retirement letters are just your way of inviting everyone that you know share in your new found good fortune. Life does begin after 60.
